Terms of Service

Last updated October 17, 2026

These terms apply to the Vastova app, its command line, and the download page at vastova.pages.dev (together, "Vastova"). By using Vastova you agree to them.

Using Vastova

Your files

You own what you send. Vastova moves files between computers and never stores them on its own servers. You are responsible for having the right to send the files you share, and for who you share links with. Anyone who has a link, and its password if it has one, can download its files while you share them.

Third-party services

If you connect Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, a storage bucket or a WebDAV server, your use of that service is also governed by its own terms. Vastova isn't affiliated with or endorsed by those companies. How Vastova handles access to them is described in the Privacy Policy.

Updates

Vastova checks for updates and installs only versions signed with Vastova's release key. Features may change between versions.

No warranty

Vastova is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Every file is checked as it arrives, but keep your own copies of anything important; Vastova isn't a backup service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the makers of Vastova aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from the use of Vastova or the inability to use it.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use Vastova afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
